Running a web radio station in a professional manner takes more money than you may imagine.
In order to offer you our webcasting service throughout 2008, we do need, dear loyal and valued listener, your financial support.
To cover the costs of this year we need 19'000 Swiss Francs (approx. Euro 12'000 or $ 19'000). Most money is spent to cover the licencing/royalty fees of the music we're playing, paying for the bandwidth caused by streaming music at high quality and the hosting of our music-files, database and automation software. The rest of the expenses is paid by the people running the station, additionally we get a little money from CD sales generated throught our site and Google ads. The makers of SwissGroove work countless hours behind the scenes for free to make this radio station a reality.
